I would say that children over 6 could do it themselves but that a parent should be on hand to offer help with opening packets and double checking measurements if needed. Fast forward a week, and both Amelia and Robin are checking on these Aqua Dragons often, looking at them in their little tank. It is a long process for kids to understand but I think it is good for them to get to grips with looking after a pet. This is most likely because he had a better understanding of what it was then I did and as an animal lover he was desperate to raise his own pets.

However 2 feeds later and plenty of air pumping we now have what do actually look like cute little water dragons.
